Fueled by angst, amphetamine and acknowledgment of the growing Garage Revival with which the GCC found themselves a part of, II is a long and generally poorly produced album. The multitude of instruments and samples can be lost in the cacophony of digital reverb and countless overdubs. Covers like Demolicion and Hippie Hippie Hoorah had become live staples for quite some time. Overall though, it is pretty interesting and not without its merits. Won't You Be Mine and The Strange are some of the best GCC originals, and Where Are You has a pretty killer bridge.
